Because they have control issues and want to control your husband's life. The fact that he has his own absolutely kills them. Tell them to mind their own business, your husband is married to you, not them.

It's time to let your husband know that they are overly intrusive.
Wouldn't be surprised if he asked them to help you out if you needed it, or even keep an eye on you.
I doubt he meant it to be this way though.
Tell them you appreciate their concern, however, you feel like they are intruding on your personal life, and would appreciate being given a lot more space than they are.
Don't get nasty with them about it, just set boundaries, and enforce them. If you get nasty, it will be ugly for a long time, and that won't serve anyone any good.
Best of luck.

Get use to it because that is what they do. Just make sure you let them know of things that they NEED to know. Other than that keep your life private as much as possible, your in laws are not your friends but just wanting to find things about you so that they can gossip

They are trying to look out for their son, and you are not helping, not that I blame you, but try to look at it from their point of view, and try to be pleasant, when they ask their stupid and annoying questions, good practise for when you become a mother in law

In-laws are nosy cause they were invented that way....Look up "nosy" in dictionary.....it will say.....bitchy in-laws.......invented for torture to spouses.....derived from outlaws who lived millions of years ago......

Get caller ID and when you see it's they who are calling, don't answer them.
