Hi,
I just did some research, and came up with about 1,100 plants per hectare at a spacing of 3m by 3m. This can produce around 23 tonnes of bananas per hectare, each year. Another website puts the figure at 1,450 – 1,550 plants per hectare, producing an average of 32 tonnes of banans per hectare.
That's a lot of bananas!

it all depends on how many acres they have. did u know a banana tree sends up babies after producing one year of bananas and then it dies.
