I am a teacher and I would not want teachers to make as much as a rock star( however that would be nice) the reason why is teachers don't teach for the money they teach because they have a passion for what they know and want to share it with thier students. I teach because of the feeling I get working with my students. I try to inspire them to be better individuals. If teachers got payed as much as rock stars you wouldn't haev this passion with teaching you would have just people after money---is that who you want teaching you a greedy person?

I'm sorry to say that it is the insult of teachers that you are comparing them with rock stars.
Teaching is a sacred profession.A teacher forms the future of a nation.Everything depends upon the teachers. All the prophets of God were teachers who spread the teachings from God.
How can you compare them with rock stars?I'm not against them but both are entirely different.Comparison should be between those two thing which seem to be similar.

Teachers are some of my favorite people. Teachers and nurses. People think teachers are under paid. I don't see it that way. I make house calls. I'd say I work for more teachers than I do doctors and lawyers combined. They're either not very capable people or they have the money to hire me. I see retired teachers living quite well. Traveling the world. Living in nice homes. So this talk about teachers being under paid doesn't hold water with me. I've always wondered what it would be like to be Mick Jagger for a day. The guy is always smiling. I'd like to know what that feels like.

I guess it would all depend on what you love doing. I would much prefer to be a rock star because I love making music and performing. Lets face it, most people who aim at becoming rock stars know that there is a very slim chance of actually 'making it' but its what they love doing.

Teachers do not teach for their salaries. Teachers teach because they enjoy what they do. Rock stars "rock" because they enjoy what they do, but I think they are seroiusly over paid. Personally, I would be a teacher..oh wait, I already am!

I'm already a teacher no matter how much money I make. I'm not in the field to make fortunes to put in the bank. I am rewarded through the success of my students and all of their accomplishments. Sure I'd like a raise each year but I don't need millions.

Teachers make plenty of money, don't let them fool you. As for your question, I'd wouldn't want to be either. I have no desire to be a rock star and I've already been a teacher.
