When majoring in accounting what should one go for? i.e. B.S., B.A.?

BBA or Bachelor of Business Administration

You really don't have much of a choice. The college youchoose will give either a BA or BS, but not both. Most often it is a BS.

accounting is now a five year major. at the end you get both a BS and your masters degrees. you will need at least a BS in order to take the CPA exam and get certified, if desired.

In MD, Accounting is consider Arts, so you would get your BA.
