You know everybody deals with grief in their own way and no way will I ever judge somebody for the mourning period!!! Stop and think....her whole world has just fell apart......she doesn't know which way is up!!
It sounds to me that the wife and brother -in-law were turning to each other in a time of grief and got caught up in the passion of their pain....it really isn't that uncommon!! unacceptable maybe, but not uncommon

This shows everyone that you and his brother shows no respect to your husband and his brother. It is much too early. If you two are having feelings for each other after only 2 weeks then you were having them before his death. I find this disgusting. Back off and have some time to morn and heal and then if the feelings are real then OK but I still think society in general will find it unacceptable not to mention your families.

it depends on the situation, for instance if the husband was ill for a long peiod of time and he was terminal, and the wife took care of him with respect and dignity until his death, she had morned his loss probably before the actual death. Everyone needs someone in their life to share themselves with.
In the event that the husband died suddenly, if the wife was really in love with husband, I think she needs time to mourn her loss and not get involved quickly, it might be for entirely the wrong reason. You should take comfort from others being male or female but for support not any kind of emotional involvement.
good luck

This happens a lot with old people. They've devoted their entire lives to someone, and then they're gone. They reach out and clasp on to someone close by, The brother probably reminds her a lot of her late husband and it was an easy decision.
Sometimes, there is a lot of unspoken sexual tension going on there for long periods of time.

Not really but only that person knows how they are dealing with the death and we all deal with death differently. I don't think it will work out for them unless it was happening before her husband died and perhaps they had something to do with it?

No i don't. That will make people think that there was something going on before your husband died. You should not be thinking of other men that soon.

it tells everyone that something was going on, before her husband dies, and that it gives the appearance that they approve of incest. this is not acceptable under any circumstances

I don't think that is something I would ever do but I know that when people are in crisis stuff like that can happen.
