People had life in Iraq before the invasion - they had jobs, food, they even could walk at night without fear of being robbed, they were not suffering. Everybody was happy there except those of course who wanted to throw the "dictator" down - they were suffering that is right, to be more correct ,the ordinary people behind whom they stood. They were fighting for their so -called "freedoms" and new they would have to pay for that. They new what they were dieing for - big money and power!!! They were not better or worse than the dictator, they were just the "others" who wanted the power.
So what are the real reason of war in Iraq?

why does the local organized crime gang burn down a restaurant and then make the owner pay exorbitant prices to have crime family business rebuild it again? we destroyed their country and now iraqi oil and u.s. taxes will have to pay haliburton, bechtel and all their pals to build it again. nice trick, don't you think?

The United States and its allies are the last hurdle left for the Islamic terrorists and their demented ideology.
Iraq has become the focal point of their Jihad. Iran knows this. Saudi Arabia knows this. In fact, all of the Muslim countries know this. The Islamic terrorists also know this.
