The best way to go is to tell them the truth, if they find out that you were lying you will end up in more trouble. Tell them the truth, if they refuse to repair it offer to pay or get it repaired elsewhere.

maximum manufacturers’ warranties don’t conceal unintentional harm. in the corporation those are stated as CCF’s customer brought about Faults. If I acquire a working laptop or computing gadget in the guaranty restoration center and that i see information of actual harm, spills, and so on, I checklist the wear and tear and supply an estimate of the value of restoration and it the customer’s ball recreation from there on. the only exception is that if the customer has offered a particular guarantee equipment that covers unintentional harm, alongside with equipment look after from Toshiba.

I don't think they will know. But u can say it stop to work without reason.. It could be dammage in the shiping even if it works for a while!
But if u say it didn't work the first time and they can know that u've intalled it and use it: too bad for you. So i'ts better to think they can know and say it stop without reasons!
Good luck.
And before you can ask (without saying your name) to the customer service if they cover accident!
