I think the most important lesson in life is learned from the old story of the Tortoise and the Hare. Slow and steady wins the race. If you keep up with a project at a slow and steady pace, and keep at it, you will be sucessful. But if you are impatient and rush, you will surely fail.
I spent way too many nights in a panic trying to finish off college papers. If I had only started on them weeks before, I would have written great stuff. Instead I wracked my brains out writing all night... it was hell!!! then one day I thought, hey, the teacher gave us three weeks to do this assignment, so I will work on this project every day for 30 minutes. I broke that down into smaller deadlines I had to accomplish and sure enough, the night before the paper was due, I actually went to bed at eleven and slept peacefully while all the other morons in my dorm were pulling an all-nighter!! guess who got the A?

-Not to get cocky. My parents always taught me that the more knowledge u have the more humble u should be.
-It's important to get along with ur siblings. I really learned this after I moved into an apartment with my brother.
-Life is a journey, not a destination. I learned this after realizing that life isn't always going to be what u want it to be. So it's better to just make the best of it and never give up.

I first learned the secret of the mystery of life when I was introduced to Oreo Cookies.....Life is like an Oreo Cookie - you have to make a choice.
The Secret to the Mystery of Life is.....Life is choice - it may seem like someone else has taken away all the choices, but there is still always a choice to be made. Our choices affect not only our lives, but the lives of those around us.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you...
I learned it from junior high when I was pretty mean... Now, I'm a bit of a loner and just treat everybody with respect or just ignore them... the same is done to me in most cases... :-)

Never give an opinion unless you're asked for one.
How did I learn it?, the hard way.

be yourself, just by being honest and having your own opinions you make better friends and come out happier because you dont have to pretend or lie to feel accepted
