Yes just like dwarves remind me of pro basketball teams.
They aren't provided by hotels for nostalgia. They are just a way of giving you soap without the rest of the bar being wasted when you checkout.

Don't worry you can still by traditional soap bars in any supermarket. It works out about 1000% cheaper than all these pump bottles of hand and face wash and shower gel, and in most cases is probably better for you.

no, but I take 2 or 3 small bars of soap, wet them really well, and stick them together to make one bigger bar of soap ;-)
