in a good number of cases even as a band adjustments their singer, they ought to regulate their sound thoroughly to accomidate him. From what I understand although, Alice in Chain's new vocalist, William DuValle sounds alot like Layne Staley, yet i have not considered him stay to verify that. contained in the 80's, line up adjustments on the singer by no potential extremely damage because virtually all of them tried sounding like both Vince Neil or Steven Tyler, there wasn't a lot originality then. i recognize i'm not naming anybody especially the following, yet contained in the 80's, a replaced singer virtually continually matched the single formerly him in sound.

Seems decently original, I don't think that any other band out there has a name like that that you'd get slammed for.

Plus at least your band's name has roots to it, like where it actually came from. A lot of bands out there these days just come up with something during a jam session and go for it so you've got that going for you as well.

hmm... The Press Box Boys... that name is.. unique? lol. usually band names DO have a coinciding story to go with why they chose that name.. so i guess it's fine. there are weirder names out there haha. if everyone likes it where you are, then go for it. it's upto you in the long run.

It sounds too much like The Backstreet Boys. Plus I think its too long. Its not really catchy. Try not to use 'boys' in the name. Keep names like The Black-eyed Peas and All-American Rejects in mind. But, i guess, as long as you guys like it, it'll be fine. Just fine. If you guys got skill.

I Think It's Awesome...!
I'd stick with it, Since you have fans that are supporting it, you shouldn't have a problem. And it sounds like an awesome name for a... Highschool? band.
