It's one of those names that could be used for boy or girl. When I first read it though I thought it was a boys name. It sounds very American.

either would fit. Ideal for a character in a new soap methinks...I have visions of Thornbirds, Dallas. I saw it was of Scandinavian origin...wouldn't have pegged as that. Has a kind of contrived/ tinseltown sound to it...
