Corn snakes can be found from $10 for the common ones up to $500 for some of the rarer new morphs. Many areas of the US you can also find them outside and adapt them to captivity, but often these may have parasites or worms that need to be treated and they often will only eat live prey. Captive bred can be adapted to eat frozen/thawed prey. My favorites are the Ultramel Bloodred that are very expensive and the medium price Lavender Corn and the less expensive Anerythristic Corn..

It depends on where you get your corn snake. I would reccomend getting it from a pet store such as Petco or Petsmart. There, they range frfom about $30.00-$89.99. You might be able to find them cheaper somewhere, but you don't really know how healthy it is. Just remember, get a book about corn snakes and do some research before getting one. As a beginner snake, I would reccomend a Ball Python. They are very calm and relaxed. They rarely bite. As for the smaller snakes, The seem to be a bit more nippy. Hope you enjoy your new snake friend!

In a shop you can pick up a 'normal' baby for about £25-30, add about £5-10 for aners, amels and snows and the price goes up from there. Adults will cost you more.

There are a lot of online forums that offer them for less, but I am a big beleiver in rehoming unwanted snakes - why saturate the shops when there are already snakes needing homes - I have posted a link to Ark, my favourite.

If you are in America please don't go catch one. Wild caught animals don't naturally adapt to captivity, they will be much less likely to eat dead prey (not as big a deal in the US, I know) and as someone else has already said it could have mites.

Well, I got mine for $75.00. That was the cost of the actual snake. But everything else (the cage, feeding, plants etc.) cost abboouutt... $500.00. They're not cheap.

a lot. you shouldn't get a pet if how much it's going to cost you is a primary concern... feeding and housing and the time spent cleaning after and caring for and the rare vet visit over the course of its entire lifespan will easily equate to several thousands of dollars.
