The FairTax Plan is a nonpartisan national grassroots campaign to replace the federal income tax system with a progressive national retail sales tax. It provides a "prebate" to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue replacement and, through companion legislation, repeal of the 16th Amendment.

Systemic discrimination of the disabled in the health care system in Canada as well as with employment. The stats on unemployed and underemployed disabled canadians has remained at about 70 percent for the past 25 years, so systemic anti disabled attitudes are also an issue.
Poverty, there have been minimal increases for the working poor and those on social assistance over the past decade despite costs going up .
The growing violence against women by men and young boys and teenagers is an issue with the rising mysogny in society.
Not strong enough laws for pedafiles, repeat sexual offenders or dangerous offenders in Canada or those who use guns.
The loss of the long gun registry in Canada due to Conservative measures.
And the environmental problems because the conservatives here in Canada are controlled by the oil and gas industries and have their head up their bottom cracks when it comes to the environment.
That enough issues for you.

my first and almost obsessive concern is the environment.
i want The Constitution repaired and the rule in law re instituted.
i'd like to see some real ethics reform in our government.
i want the Iraq mess resolved and our troops brought home.
i want the perpetrators of 9/11 caught and put on trial.
i'd like to see our national reputation repaired.
and i'd like maybe some day to have some kind of reasonably priced health care.

Taxes, social security, affordable health care and the deficit. I'm too old to fight in this foolish war but I am constantly shocked at the waste and "stick it to the middle class" attitude of government.
