Give me your poison,
the poison I killed you with.
It was so harsh of me to do so,
though I did not know.

I only wanted to make you happy,
but you never wanted what I had to offer.
I was so selfish,
I never meant to hurt you with my love.

Give me the blade,
the blade I found in your room,
the blade that riped open my old wounds.
I could not bear the stress you brought.

I've been senseless all this time...
I never noticed what I was doing,
It took forever to know what I had done,
I'm sorry my love, I did not know.

Because I'm deaf,
I never hear my own guilt filled cries
as they rip through the silence,
the empty dead air is the only one who hears.

Because I'm blind,
I never see my gruesome black blood
trickle down my wrist,
and onto the bright white tile floor.

Because I can not taste,
the tears slide down my colorless cheeks,
but I never taste the salt in my mouth.
I cry because I did not know.

Because I can not taste,
I never feel the end coming.
I never suspect I'm dying,
I never feel my strength seeping out my wrists.

Because I can not smell,
I never smell death drawing near.
The stench is strong,
though I can not smell.

I've always loved you my friend.
My friend. That's all you ever were.
I'm sorry my friend, my love, my loss,
I did not know.
