American Pie is great song to learn. You use Majors, Minors, and diminished plus everyone knows the lyrics. you can also make it rougher with a lil chop and slop.

Any songs that onyl have 3 chords are really easy to learn. There are even special books for them. And then of course any Green Day or Nirvana song :)

i play in my church. and they dont need to be sexy. just play a song that sounds good. like a green day song,when i come around, or good riddance. nirvana songs, bon jovi songs, christian songs are pretty cool, the best songs, in my opinion
