I think they are just plain annoying, but that's just me. It was
sort of like that blue puck experiment FOX Sports used when
they were broadcasting the NHL. I like the advertiser logo in
the upper right hand corner of the game like they used in
World Cup soccer, since it wasn't actually on the field of play.
It was out of the way, and in the space which would have been
open sky. That's a much better idea than having the logo on the
actual field, but I guess the advertisers can have it where they want since they are paying a significant portion of the TV networks' revenue.

Thankfully I can't recall seeing that. I find crap like that really annoying. The only thing on the field(computer generated) should be the line of scrimmiage and the First down marker. No reason to put all that other crap on the field.
