Some of us have also been brought to our knees by moles, many species of which are blind. It depends on what kind of creature you are, and what your ecological niche is. What's "better", if you have to choose one thing, is what you need most to survive. For instance, if you are a naturally skinny species located in a nutrient-poor part of the world, then great strength isn't in your best interest, and may actually work against you, since maintaining your high-strength body may require more energy input than you are equipped to obtain.

I take vision, for even a blind person can have vision in the ability of foresight! What would be the desire to arrive first, and not know what to do upon arrival. The strong will never inherit the earth, the wise will! We have all found the dead bird below the plate glass!
