I found a very tastefuly black dress with sleeves and V neck. The wedding is in the evening at the end of November on Long Island. Can I wear the boots or is it too trashy?

Ok for clarification. The V neck is not low cut and the boots are not of the trashy variety. More like high fashion, heeled expensive boots.

That sounds like a very nice outfit. Just wear black sheer pantyhose/stockings with the boots. No fish-net stockings though! ;) Maybe wear it something bright colored jewelry, or a nice silver chain with a pendant but nothing from the costume jewerly section at Wal-Mart.

Mmmm, I dunno.
Black dress with a n-veck and boots to a wedding? I personally find it too trashy.
I'd wear some softer colors and shoes that aren't boots or knee high.

reckoning on which element of the worldwide you're in. in case you're in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Russia, Canada, northern us of a, Argentina, Chile, Brazil the respond is confident. in actuality, in specific factors of Europe and Asia-Pacific, extreme heeled boots are seen extra formal then a extreme heel shoe. For southern us of a, needed American, Africa, center east, south Asia, the respond is not any. For those places, maximum females human beings placed on sandals for the two formal besides as casual events. verify your boots are the dressy sort with a extreme high quality skinny extreme heel in case you opt to placed on them. smart attire and boots are very problem-unfastened for wintry climate weddings here in Europe.

With snow on the ground, no problem.

I don't think you should wear kneelength boots to a wedding. I mean they're nice for out doors but for a coctail style reception you want something classier and dressier than boots.

honestly, maybe its not the best choice to wear to a wedding. try like a more elegant heel, if you have any doubts that its trashy, dontt wear it.

If the dress is at least knee length, you could get away with it. If the dress is short, it could be a little much.
Partly depends on the crowd....
