If a female has the equivilent skill and apptitude of a male sportsman in thier chosen sport then I dont see a problem with it.As far as I'm concerned as long as the person as such is dedicated then why not.

Why are most of ur questions gender based? If ur a female liberationist that's good.
It won't bother me to see a lady on a men's team, but most of these sports are contact sports apart from baseball; guys would take advantage of this to get a jerk. If the woman can keep up with the game in terms of fitness and speed and ignore some of the actions of the opposing team-- which might be sexist-- then she could join the mens team. The first lady to do this would be a queen in my mind.

Im sure at this point in time with women being relatively equal to men (although not on a social level) it comes down to size with athletics. The only sports I think a woman could compete with men would be basketball...bc some are grown tall, and soccer, because its an endurance sport, size isnt as significant as the others. Football is out of the question...tell me where you could find a 6 foot 5 , 250 pound women that was in shape..the majority dont have the ability to form muscle like men. I wouldnt care seeing a woman play in any of the sports stated above...and if she was good...and on my team id root her on. I just dont think the odds are on womans side to be able to physically compete with men on professional levels.

Its an awkward one. One the one hand its straightforward as it should be an unqualifed no, it wouldn't bother me. Provided the female is good enough then so what? Part of the problem with the Michelle Wei golf situation is that, whilst she's undoubtedly talented, she's not good enough to compete head to head with the men. And arguably she's not even good enough to compete with the likes of Anika Sorrentrom in the women's game as she's yet to win an adult women's event. But forgetting her, no, if the woman is good enough then fine.
But as someone else said, it does raise the question of men competing with women in their own leagues. So the only situation is a mixed game, and whilst at the highest level this may be ok, is this right for the lower levels? And then there is the physical side of things, as much as we deny it this surely is a variable. How much I don't know.
Apologies for waffling a bit, but its not as straightforward as I initally thought. My answer though is still no, if she's good enough then great!

This is the worst idea ever. Sorry but i don't like it. At the lower levels it may be alright if she was competitive. but the top levels have all-female leagues as well or should have all-female leagues. It wouldn't bother me but you would go easy on them because you 'can't hit a girl'. If they start playing with men, then men should be allowed to play in the women's league (otherwise it is sexist). And then we will just have mixed leagues. So i think they shouldnt be allowed.

No, If a person is good enough to play at the professional level, They ought to be able to do so. The talent and phyiscal abilities required to play professional sports is rare, it would be a waste to to use it.

No ... if they can make the cut. Let them play. The men that are affraid of being shown up by a women are not real men anyway.
But there should be not be a different set of rules for the woman.

no because in a physical sport the female just can't match the upper body strength.
