Though there are no crimes he has committed, there is much talk of impeachment on here. Lets just say he was taken into an impeachment trial. Do you think it would help America stay safe from terrorists and fix all our problems to try him like this? Yes or no, and explain why.

If he hasnt commited any crimes we cant impeach him. So, no, it wouldnt help. All it would do is make the democrats happy. That doesnt solve anything.

Bush won't be impeached. The talk here is simply talk. There is no reason to impeach the president when a few investigations by the House and Senate can get at the truth of what the real story is in Iraq.
Clinton's impeachment cost millions of dollars and accomplished nothing except the ongoing polarization of the country. I pray the Democrats learned from the blunder of the Clinton impeachment and wont go down that road either.
And anyway, impeachment might be possible in the House but conviction in the Senate is impossible. It will not happen.

No Crimes Committed?? B.S. The Guy did illegal Wire taps plain and simple He did not even bother to get a warrant from the FISA Courts. Taking Bush to Court May not help us against terrorist attacks but We would at least not be B.S.ed about the reason we invade a country. Impeaching Bush may not take care of All this countries problems but it would be a Giant Step towards removing its biggest one

I believe there is nothing to gain by going negative by impeaching the President. I do feel he has done some things I do not like and question the ethics and moral standard of as well as the legality, but if there is to be any prosecution for that it should be post presidency. If he is doing sometihng illegal he can be censured by Congress which would leave him without any Presidential power but I don't even see that as likely due to the fact it takes House and Senate Majority as in 66.6%. It won't happen.

No at this point it would not help America, besides he only has two years left. It would have helped America if he was impeached prior to taking the US to war in Iraq.

No, it would not help the U.S. in any way, he didn't commit a crime and he wouldn't be convicted. but I was embarrassed by the whole Clinton thing too, I wish he had just been more discreet. I really don't care what he did in his private life, but when he was caught he should of told the truth, what could they have done to him anyway?

... well... you don't really know that he hasn't committed any crimes, or are you in his cabinet?

I think it would benifit America about as much as it did when Clinton was on trial... the way it CLEARLY took our eyes off terror and anything else going on at the time...

basically, I don't think it would do any good, but Repubicans started this under clinton... don't cry if Democrats want to continue the party attacks that stem from your own actions...

EDIT: ok, your own PARTY'S actions... I thought a PHD could figure that out... sorry...

and if you look at the investigation into Clinton, there were no crimes with any validity that were being investigated... the only crime was when he lied in the investigation about something that wasn't even illegal... it's like arresting Capone on tax evasion...

Absolutely NOT, it would embolden the Islamo-Fascist terrorists to strike the US again and then the democrats can forget about the White House forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO. OUR COUNTRY HAS BEEN WEAKENED TOO MUCH IN SPIRIT SINCE 9-11. WHAT GOOD WOULD IT DO? I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING POSITIVE COMING FROM THIS AT ALL. AS FAR AS BEING SAFE FROM TERRORISTS, IF THEY WANT US THAT BADLY, THEY WILL FIND A WAY. MY FEAR WILL BE WHEN THEY HANG YOU-KNOW-WHO.
GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I think the only entertainment you would get from it is beating American Idol in television ratings.
