Friday night's 6 o'clock news stated that in Germany the United Nations is pursuing charges against Don Rumsfeld for his knowledge and approval of the atrocities of Abu Grahb (sp, sorry).

Seems likely in view of the fact that two or three weeks ago Bush lied that Rumsfeld would be staying on for the next two years. Apparently a lie since he "accepted" Rumsfeld's resignation the morning after the election. Speaking of....if there is to be a trial against Rumsfeld, would it consider Bush and Cheney as accomplishes?

Love the fact that you have posted this question a dozen times. Do you expect to get different answers or are you just hoping to find a kindred spirit?

I am sure there is some fruit loop in Germany that wants to file charges against Rumsfeld. I do not think the UN's fleet of little white tanks can get Rumsfeld. It is just your silly little socialist fantasy.

No, America will never allow an official like Rumsfeld to be tried in the UN. I have opposed the actions of Rumsfeld; his handling of the war from start (which never should have happened) to his on going incompetence.
But the UN is filled with USA haters. No American will allow its public citizens to be tried by these guys. If they actively supported and pushed for it, the UN can get the hell out of the USA.

No, Rumsfeld resigned after the left repeatedly threatened and bashed his character. He thought it would make life easier for the President after Jan.2007.

It's possible but "Dr. Death" Rumsfield has become a scape goat for King George Butcher, Condosleeza Rice, and Micheal Jerkoff.

It's because he tries to tell the truth. They need a liar like Condi. Donald wasn't good enough and with his age, the lies are harder to come up with. Plus, he's probably thinking about his family and their future is weighing heavy on his decisions to stop telling lies...
