There will be no trial on U.S. soil. It really serves no positive purpose for America.

However, for those needing proof of the above question try this...

And the war criminals must be brought to justice - beginning with Donald Rumsfeld. On November 14, the Center for Constitutional Rights, the National Lawyers Guild, and other organizations will ask the German federal prosecutor to initiate a criminal investigation into the war crimes of Rumsfeld and other Bush administration officials. Although Bush has immunized his team from prosecution in the International Criminal Court, they could be tried in any country under the well-established principle of universal jurisdiction.

Is there going to be a war crimes trial for Rumsfeld, where and when? If there is to be such trial, it won't be on US soil. BUT, regarding your questions, Cheney/Bush will not stand up for Rumsfeld, and instead invoke their 5th amendment right, the right to not incriminate themselves.

I have to agree(with the other replies), there will be nothing of the sort, the democrats know they need to focus on other things and the republicans aren't going to prosecute themselves, there will be no "warcrimes" trial, it wouldn't accomplish anything.

There won't be a trial, what crimes do you think he committed?
President Bush has showed he is a loyal friend in the past.

Who said anything about war crimes? None have been committed. Where's your proof? Can't bring charges if you don't have evidence.

Foolish and stupid. I wish you liberals would hate the people who want to blow up our cities a fraction more, just a little more, than you hate your fellow countrymen who don't see the world in the same twisted way you do.

Grow the hell up.
