Walk dogs. Help people Christmas shop. Wrap gifts. Help put up Christmas lights. There are a lot of opportunities to make extra money around the holidays.

Here is a suggestion: can you bake? Can you make fudge? For people who are not close relatives, giving baked goods like cookies and pies are always welcome. if you can make fudge, offer to sell your fudge on EBay, with just a little investment in decorative boxes or tins to put them in.

I make good money myself, but I still bake pecan pies around Christmas for a lot of friends, some of whom are wealthy but appreciate my delicious pecan pie every year.

If you have some sort of specialty such as baking or whatever, use that skill to your advantage!

You seem to have a good heart; God bless you and have a Merry Christmas!

Let me first say that I am very sorry that your family is going through some hard times. I know that it is tough right now, but when you and your family get through this, you will be closer than ever. The best thing you could do for your mom is to tell her that you love her and that she is an amazing person. Tell her you appreciate all she has done for you and that the only thing you want for Christmas is to be together as a family and spend time together. I like what one of the other people said, about going to look at Christmas lights, doing each other's nails, etc... And churches are more than happy to help out needy families, especially during the holidays. Maybe you can bake together, or do something with her that she likes. My grandma raised me and we never had money for the holidays, and we would go to church, and drive around and look at Christmas lights, and just spend time together with the family. Times were always tough, but I knew that I was loved, and that is what is important. Best of luck to you and your family, I will keep you in my prayers.

Try making some presents yourself. Not everyone needs to be given an expensive present. There are so many things you can make! Aprons, pillow covers, photo frames, photo collages/albums, mixed cds, you name it! There are lots of ideas on the internet as well. Good luck!

If ya get desperate you can always rob a bank or convenient store. You'll most likely end up in the booty house for 1o or 20 years but at least you'll have money for Christmas gifts.

Uhh, you could try raking leaves for neighbors and getting more babysitting jobs. You have over a month.
