Is there going to be a 3rd series of the ITV drama afterlife?

Such a good drama, but I'm unsure where it can go next. Does anyone know if a 3rd series is planned?

Alison can help his wife come to terms with him passing over and together they can finish his book.

Oh I do hope so, its the best thing that's been on telly for ages, loved the first series but thought this one was better though very emotional, I'm hoping Robert comes back as Alison's spirit guide, like Jude said to Alison, Robert was the most spiritual person she had ever met, so true, he did believe but tried to block it and that's why he was so scarred at the end, brilliant TV bring it back.

Probably not as they've killed off one of the main characters. The trouble with great british dramas is that they're never long enough. American dramas run for entire box sets but here we just get 6 or 8 lousy episodes.

Geez! yet another Equalizer fan!! That replaced right into a tremendous instruct and no human being may have performed the area of the Equalizer more effective than Woodward did. its better that it end son a high now, than have series after series were it gets less, and less good! I would love another series, but only if the writers have good ideas, rather than clutching at straws!
