In long flights like yours they usually give soft drinks, juice, breakfast/lunch/dinner, depending on your flight departure hour. There is a TV set every 3 or 4 rows of seats and you can either take your small earphones or buy some in the plane to hear music or the films.
Be very careful with what you bring with you as hand luggage; a new regulation has been passed (the date is Nov 6th) about what travellers can carry as hand lugagge anywhere around Europe and it´s VERY RESTRICTIVE!!! Liquids are restricted to 100 mililitres per bottle/container carried in a plastic bag which cannot be bigger than 1 litre capacity. The bag can be opened for checking at security point. Medicines must be carried the same way and with the doctor´s prescription. Baby food and products bought in the duty-free shops will be allowed when carried sealed in that way. Coats and jackets will be scanned too. And any electronic tool (computers, ipods, etc) must be taken out from their bags or suitcases to be scanned apart too.
So if you don´t want to have problems in London (as you are taking a connecting flight from a European airport), put your make-up creams and lotions inside your lugagge and just take as hand lugagge your purse, passport, tickets, a magazice/newspaper and not much more. You will avoid problems.
Read the information in this site I´m copying here:

Hope I´ve helped!

nothing is free. It's all charged in your ticket price.
Check with your airline what's allowed, most liquids aren't - like 'lotion'. Most international flights give you a meal and there's toothpaste and a toothbrush in the bathroom (individual ones, not one for all). If it's a long flight, there'll be a hot towel before you have to get off. Don't know how long the flight from "Canda" (Canada?) to India is, but most economy flights over three hours get a meal and towel. Different airlines do different things.
You should be allowed a plastic comb. Most countries don't allow wood and food to be brought in. You'll need to check customs etc. Your local government should have a website for travellers telling you what you need to know and directing you to the sites that tell you everything else.
Don't trust the advice of people on yahoo to get it right for you. In this day and age getting it wrong can be very very bad. Check with your airline, and your government to be sure.

Take a sleeping mask and some kind of inflatable or small pillow. Make sure you drink more water than normal, or else you will get very dehydrated with the almost zero percent humidity in the plane. Take something for headache and nasal stuffiness. Wear comfortable clothes. Take a pen for the customs/immigration forms.

You will be provided with some meals/snacks, non alcoholic drinks. You will not be able to avoid the television screen, which is why I suggested the sleep mask. Take a book or something to keep you occupied. Take a change of clothes. (in the odd event that someone would throw up on you, as happened to me last overseas flight).

Relax, have a nice trip.

certain, all videos on global flights are loose lately. I dont learn about in Euroupe yet there would properly be a small cost if its an exceedingly short flight say between Sweeden and Norway....basically take some better money yet when your flight is slightly longer, that's going to be loose. and if the internet website doesnt say some thing about cost then i might want to assert that they wont can charge. relish your flight.

You get all this information from your travel agent. Even if you book online, you will have this information with your ticketing so I am doubting if you have actually booked yet!
If you STILL wonder, go to the website of the airline you are travelling on and all the information is listed there. It's the law.
