I see from news reports the democrats are going to do the same thing the republicans did in 04. They are going to hold hearing after hearing so nothing gets done. If this happens who are they going to blame in 08 when they lose because they had their chance &did nothing.. Did we elect them to get revenge for what the republicans did in 04 or did we elect them to do the job they were sent there for, to Govern.

No, they were elected because people still believe voting is the only way to get the representation they need. The only trouble is all politicians are the same whatever the Party they belong. All they want is what is best for themselves and to hell with the American public. When their terms are up, have you ever heard of any one of them still willing to help the common people? No, why, because they got rich ripping of the people they were supposed to administer to in the first place. All politicians are liars by nature or they wouldn't be politicians in the first place. My favorite quote came from Will Rogers during the 1924 Presidential elections: ' Suppose you were a politician; and suppose you were an idiot; but I repeat myself '.

We hired democrats to clean up the mess in our government and to restore respect for our political and justice systems.. If that means after investigating where 5 trillion dollars went, that we have to put half of our politicians in prison, then so be it... A strong message has to be sent to our politicians that "No one", is above the law... Once we get rid of all the corrupt politicians, we will be able to pass legislation for the people, instead of for the corporations... p.s.. I never said that only republicans were corrupt, as for senator reid, he should spend a little time like martha stewart did if he's found guilty, but at least he seems to have worked for americans rather than for foreign corporations.. at least he's not a traitor.
