I was sweeping out under the sofa, and then cleaning out under the cushions, and I found these little wormy type things, anyone know what these are? I've found these before, at my old house, usually in the carpet. They are 1cm or shorter, look kinda like worms. Sometimes I would find what looked like a shell, like as if they shed their skin. Does anyone know what these are, what they can do to your health, how to get rid of them? I found at least 50 in one part of my sofa tonight.
I have no pets, but used to have a dog and cat. The sofa is probably 15 years old.

I'm not quite sure what they are either, but I do agree that you would be better off getting rid of the sofa- preferably by burning!

My 1st advice is to get a new couch because they are probably hiding deep inside and there wont be a way to get rid of them all
