I HATE the idea of endorsing video games for children. I really don't think it is the best that can be offered for good brain development. Get him something that will take him outdoors so he can interact with the environment. My eight year old received something called "Bug Pods" for her birthday. Looks like a smaller version of the habitrails for rodents. She is always outdoors. Give it with a bug vacuum.

Or you could buy him some Bionicles it is such the craze these days. Is he into music?? If so maybe get him some music. You could also by him some MARVEL action figures too.

Lego are great for any age and you can get specific kits to go with what he likes, ex: star wars, racing, dinosaurs, batman, rescue vehicles etc.

well if he is into sports go get him like...a football,basketball,baseball golve and baseball ......and of not get him like a play tent ,play golf clubs....radio control car,soccer ball,action figuers....candy....,collector cards ya know stuff like that... c ya!..=)
