Press CTRL/ALT/DELETE at the same time and the Windows Task Manager will pop up.... Then click on the USERS tab... There you will see if others are using your wireless connection.... The best thing is to password protect your wireless connection.

If you bought yourself a wireless router and followed the quick setup guide, then the chances are you have an open connection.

Look in the router manual on how to configure WPA encryption
It takes a eight digit alpha-numeric key for example beer2468.
When anyone tries to attach to your network they will be asked for the key.

You can also add MAC address filtering. This only allows specific computers to attach to the router.

If the wireless indicator on the front of the router is continually flashing when you are not surfing then you probably have someone stealing your bandwidth.

password protect your connection or use mac address filtering.
you need to go to your wireless router setup page and configure it so nobody else can connect to it.
if it has mac address filtering id recommend using that instead of wep security because it doesn't slow down the speed as much as wep security.
also on the router setup page there is a list of connected wireless devices(its called different things on different models), that will tell you if someone is using your connection.
most of the time you can access the setup page by opening Internet explorer and typing in 192.168.1.1
then type admin for the user and admin for the password if you haven't changed that yet, do change that.

Good Luck
