Though sad but this is the fact, they had to face that punishment after positive dope test......PCB is helpless regarding this, they did wht they should have done....this is the rule and reules are same for everyone......i feel sorry for Asif specialy as he was not aware of the drugs, he could not attendent lectures for drugs awareness and thats why he does not know about prohibited drugs.Anyway....for world cup, so Omer Gul n Shahid Nazir are doing well....Shabbir Ahmed is expected to come back in december...

well at the least PCB now stands as a credible cricket institution in the world. They along with Australia, England and Newzealand are the only cricket boards that have an internal dope testing procedure in place. Shoaib: 2 years of ban is very justified, Asif: 1 year of ban is a little too harsh. He could have got a 6 month ban + a huge monetary fine + Drugs awareness class. And by the way, they have some exciting new fast bowlers like Samiullah Niazi, Umar Gul. It is always great to surprise your opposition with new talent.

The regulation says that they might desire to be punished. i've got faith undesirable for them, extremely Muhammad Asif, through fact he didnt understand on the subject of the medicine. i'm hoping they don't seem to be punished too undesirable, through fact they're the two good cricketers. Pakistan Zindabad!!!

The PCB banned them because once you have gone to all the trouble of setting up anti-doping facilities you then must be seen to take serious action against the cheats, regardless of who they are

P.C.B. had no other alternative, but to take action action against them. Otherwise ICC will pull them up and take action against the players, which may be more stringer.
