i got a hysterectomy last year because i didn't want to worry about gettting pregnat i am 45 years old but i think i might be pregnant my period has stopped coming and i am 4 months late!!! could i be pregnant?!!! pleez help this old pregnant woman!!!

Your going through menopause. Everyone else I know that had a hysterectomy never had a period again.

If you got a hysterectomy (meaning they took out your uterus), then you shouldn't have gotten a period anyway. And you can't possibly get pregnant.

hysterectomy means they took out all of your toys out of the play pen. You have nothing to get pregnant with and of course you will eventually stop having your period once your body realizes there are no more toys in the play pen.

Uh, hello? No offense to all the previous posters, but without a uterus, you don't have a period.
And, no, you can't get pregnant.
You aren't "starting menopause." You became post-menopausal the second they removed your uterus.
