Here in Concord, California our bus system is a joke. The buses stop running at 6pm Monday through Saturday, and there is no service at all (day or night) on Sundays. We do have an electric train that connects to surrounding cities, but it only runs until midnight. To attend a concert or any late night events out here, it 's best to drive.

Last bus is 11.30pm from town. But night owls can get a bus every 2 hours from the bus station. Till about 6.30am when they start the day shift.

London never stops except on Christmas Day. Plenty of routes run 24 hours continuously.

You're lucky. After 6pm in Bucks, all the buses stop at the depo. If you want to go further, you have to get another bus and pay again. And they all stop at 11pm, start up again at 6am.
