Most young people are actually in lust rather than in love. Don't get me wrong they are very hard to distinguish. I am still learning the game myself but so far still on my first marriage and almost 40 years in. Being in lust often turns into being in love. Work at it and see how it goes. If it lasts a year and still going strong then you have every chance of a lifetime relationship. Just remember to keep working at it and that it takes 2 to tango.

Yes. The ultimate test of loving forever is Jesus. He loved us before we were born and will continue loving us after we die.
While that kind of love cannot be achieved by people, we can meet someone and love them untill we die.
Have you ever seen those older people that met each other when they were teenagers and are still married and love each other?
They are the perfect example of romantic-forever love. It happens.

YES. I met my hubby at school age 14 nd 15 we were married at 20 and 21 in 1974. We are still very much in love and happily married. Neither of us have ever strayed and wouldn't, we are the envy of all our friends family and acquaintances. we have 4 children and share talk laugh love cry shout. very much in love still and always will be, we just know.. best of luck to you and Jon, ...

forever is a long time.
my great gran and grandad were childhood sweethearts, married when she was 19 and died within a week of each other when my great nan was 98.
It is not quite forever but it was definitely a lasting love.
