I know how to do a heart but i'm not really sure so .....that's why I want to know

Hold down alt and then on the side number pad press a number or combination of numbers then release alt.
(Alt+4 is ♦ diamond. Alt+5 is ♣ clover. Alt+6 ♠ is spade. Alt+3 is ♥ heart.) So there ya go. You can also make smilies, accents, letters, numbers, etc. Hope that helps.

Go to the character map. To get there:
1. Click Start
2. Click Programs
3. Accessories
4. System Tools
5. Character Map
Next, pick the symbol you want, click Select, then Copy, then, wherever you're writing, Paste.
Now, you're symbol should be on the typing screen and you're all set to go. :)

whoa. Cant answer your question but I gotta let you know that I had the hardest time reading "type symbols" for some reason... I stared at the two words for maybe 4 minutes lol. Major brain fart
