Try to surround yourself with positive people and believe that you'll feel better. It may not happen in an instant, but it will happen. It definitely helps to have people in your life that will uplift you and not bring you down.

Can you call someone who makes you laugh and feel good?Try not to be too hard on your self kiddo....Maybe you need a change of scenery..Sometimes that helps..A new job..Or a new person in your life...I was not happy with my first husband because he was such a Son of a you know what..Then I met my husband and found happiness and now I live in the Sunny Arizona desert and now I am totally happy because the cold cloudy days in Washington state made me unhappy...So you see, a change of scenery and a new person in your life might make a difference.

First of all, put your problems aside for awhile, and only concentrate on things that you enjoy and have an interest in, or anything that would stir any excitement in your life, and figure out a goal, that you are aiming for that would be of interest to you, or would give you some excitement in your life. Sounds to me like you have been through some tough times, and experienced so many low points in your life, you forgot all the things that use to make you happy. That can happen to people, and just drain you of all your energy, and love of life. You first need rest, and then you must try to set a goal for yourself, of not something you need to do, but something you WANT to do!! Then you will find the energy to get though the bad, to get to the GOOD!!! Everyone needs something in there life that makes them Happy!! Good luck!

You can remember. You just don't want to.

memory suppression is a common syptom of guilt.
Usually the sufferer believes that they have done something wrong and therefore do not deserve to be happy. So they suppress all memory of happiness to punish themselves for the imagined ( or real) wrong. It's a very complicated subject as happiness and guilt are sujective senses, not objective.

Go to the doctor Monday and ask for an antidepressant. I take Celexa. It really has helped me a lot. Good luck.

This on;y happens when you don't want to remember happness.
Just go back to your youth and see in your minds eye for your begining when some one truly love you. Its in your mind and heart. It will always stay there.

Think of me. I haven't been happy in the last 58 years. That should cheer you up or give you something to look forward to, later in life.

I will pray for your happiness.

I think it has to come from inside, also.
I think one needs to just BE TIRED of NOT feeling happy FIRST.
Then D-E-C-I-D-E you are not going to stay that way.
Shed those sad thoughts. They are from satan anyway. Tell him to shut up--he's a liar.

Then, maybe, pray to be made HAPPY again. God listens!!
I say 'maybe', in case you believe in prayer.
