I agree that he should be sent to jail but not for the reasons you say. He won't feel regret or pain because he doesn't feel that he has done anything wrong.

He should be sent to jail because for his Sunni Muslim supporters, by being hanged he will now become a martyr to Islam and will spur them on to further violence and unrest in the Middle East.

He should hang!!!! if we put him in jail for the rest of his life then that would be like sending him to a hotel free of charge. he would get three meals a day, a bed, medical treatment when he needs it. heck he'll even have people to keep him company. He would probably be living a life of comfort. if we send him to jail, but if we do then there are probably people in jail who would love to kill him, they might enjoy it a little to much. NO he should hang and i think that they should do it nationally so the whole world will be able to see that we don't back down when stupid people think that they can threaten us. Let him hang.

I'm amazed by all the fascist answers!

He should not be hanged, as it is not right to take someones life, no matter what they have done. Who are we to play God?

You don't rape a rapist to make them pay for their crime.

Plus, all this talk of prisoners having a great life in jail, check your facts, it's no fun and games. If prisoners have done something 'bad', they are paying for it in prison. Doing something wrong doesn't mean you have to be treated badly, you are still a human.

Don't be trying to make the rules stiffer and worse, because the way the government is going, you or one of your family will go to prison having done nothing wrong or for thinking about something. Thought Police is on the agenda.

Find out your facts before you write silly, immature, rubbish.

I agree to an extent. but if he is not haung I acan guarantee that someone with either kill him in jail or someone will break him out. I also believe that he would not be remorseful in anyway that is why agree with hanging him because it is supposed to be an eye for an eye and only god knows how many people he ruthlessly killed. He would not feel the pain and regret no matter if he rotted in jail for 200 seconds or 200 years

Put him in a bomb proof bunker, place an explosive device with a long timer in there with him and let him sweat for days. Eventually the device would explode killing him. This would be similar to the way he murdered the unsuspecting people, before his capture, not knowing the outcome of his orders.

Yes but if he was sent to jail, he would receive the best medical treatment etc which comes at a cost - which tax payers pay for !!

It would be nice to hang GWB too. After all they are both butchers. And that one OLMERT. He has the making of another civilian butcher. But when Hezbollah go "BOO" he and his IDF run faster than American Special Forces in Baghdad.

Being now that the Dems are in charge, he will probably be given a million dollar mansion on Martha's Vineyard living next door to Ted Kennedy. Then the American taxpayer will be forced to pay all his living expenses.

He shouldn't go to jail as the UK human rights softies would make sure he had free massages, 3 course meals and satellite TV.

I don't like him, but I really think that he should have life in prison for the things that he has done instead of hanging.
