I re-married after divorcing my first husband, but I had to get married at l2 in the registry office and have the marriage blessed in the C of E church at 3. It was nice really, obviously you have to say the vows twice over, but you sure feel married. I loved every moment. The words of the blessing are so similar to the wedding vows you can't really tell the difference. So have a great day one way or another.

Yes, but I think the final decision is down to the vicar in the particular church. I was divorced and married again in a CofE church and the vicar was very understanding. However, at the first church we approached the vicar was totally against it and would not even entertain the idea ! In fact, he was downright rude and nasty about it. So don't be disappointed if they say no, but 'shop around' if you can !
