My friend accidently sprayed disinfectant on her hamster and is crying and is worried

just get a wash cloth that is wet and a little warm and damp it on him/her. What was the hamster doing near disenfectant anyway? make sure the cloth is damp! a cloth two cold can make him/her sick. I have a hamster. DONT PUT IN A POOL OF WATER! CAN AND WILL GET SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be a very clean and hygenic hamster. Is it the one that kills mrsa too? If it is your in luck if the hamster has togo into hospital!
Sorry, I hope the hampster is ok, how on earth did she manage to spray it with disinfectant??

I'd give it a wash PDQ, before it tries to wash it off itself and ingests disinfectant. That would probably be fatal.

Bath it (thats of its still alive) an keep it somewhere warm, please advise her not to do this again or at least buy a pet friendly disinfectant from your vet.

Rinse it off very well with water and dry with a cloth before it starts grooming itself.

Your friend should wash him in tepid water and dry him thoroughly, then keep him warm for the next few hours.
What is done is done and there is no point in crying. She has to act fast.

put the hamster in a pool (sink full of water) and rub gently to get the cleaner off of the skin!

U MUST REMOVE IT!!
I painted my rabbit once and it liked itself to death...PLZ immediately take it to the wet...or in a warm place try to wipe it clean WELL>

He'll be fine. Give him a wipe with some wet water. I once spilt spot remover on my dog, he's gone now.
