i want to be in a home by march..... people are telling me to wait, but i don't think housing is going to drop that much in only a few months , what are your thougths

It depends where in jersey. Condos on the waterfront are going up in price, not down.

I do closings in jersey, and the market for regular homes has slowed, but prices in general are not making any drastic drops just yet. I agree that a few months in most of jersey won't make much (if any) difference at all.

I doubt highly that the market is going to "drop" as you or others are saying. What I would say is that the prices are going to even out some and not increase as much or as quickly as in recent years. The last 5 to 8 years, real estate values in some areas have actually tripled. This is a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing.

I actually have a tool that you can se to look at the neightborhood values in that area and then it will help you determine what everything is selling for in that company. i offer this service free to my clients and my prospective clients.
