I'm not on birth control & I am due for my period this weekend, but instead I am spotting. I usually have pms symptoms when my period is due (cramping, sore breasts), but I don't have any of that. I have been spotting on and off for about 3 weeks now since my last period, which was extremely light. Could this be symptoms for a cyst or preg???

I forgot to add, that I haven't had a normal period since August. I didn't think nothing of the light, 3-day periods, but since I have been spotting on/off since the last one, it has brought some alarm. I have an appt Tuesday, but I am just real anxious to know what is wrong with me.

well sometimes the spotting is due to implanting of the egg so if you think you might be pregnant the best answer to give is take a test

Did you try taking a pregnancy test?
Pregnancy symptons and cyst sypmtoms can be very similar. There could also be another reason for the spotting.
The best thing to do is to get to the dr and they can help you rule out pregnancy, cyst or possibly a miscarriage.

It is a sign of pregnancy but I had dthe same thing last month. I had very light spotting for about 4 days and then boom.......I thought it had went away and my boyfriend and I were having sex and I strted bleeding like I had been shot. I had the heaviest and longest period I have ever had in my 31 years of life....I think being a woman just does some crazy stuff to us sometimes...Godd luck and I wish you the best

HI! im going through the same thing you are right now. i was spotting brown for 7 days and then it went away and i got white discharge. im still waiting a week or so to test if im pregnant or not. so its possible that you could be pregnant. i think you should see a doctor.

Yes, it is possible. That is exactly what happened to me right before I discovered that I was expecting. You should get a home pregnancy test, if it is positive see a doctor to make sure everything is fine. Good Luck

well brown blood is normally dried blood left from ou last period. i have that all the time. as for your spotting for 3 weeks, you may want to go get checked out just to make sure that it is not more serious then that. if you happe to find out that the brown blood is differant other then just dried blood from a previous menstral cycle let us (me) know.
