I have seen some really cool glass balls hanging in people's trees in my neighborhood. They look especially nice after the leaves have fallen, but they are NOT xmas ornaments...they are for all year round. They are decorative large glass balls. I cannot find them anywhere on the net...only xmas ornaments. Any idea where they can be bought? Can always ask a neighbor I guess...

Google for catalogues with gardening in the name-- I've seen them (I'm the catalogue queen) and can't remember the name of the catalogue-- Gardeners Supply I think.
Plow and Harth might have them, too-- I'd even google Michaels and Garden Ridge -- maybe Hobby Lobby- There was a gardner specialty store in Hot /Springs Ar that had them, too.
good luck

They are called gazing balls and are carried at most Garden Centers or can be ordered by them if they don't have any in stock. We carry them at the Garden Center we own here in Western PA.

I think they call them gazing balls. I have seen them at garden shops. They are prety but kind of expensive.
