How do you erase the items in Yahoo's search engine that keep popping up.?

Example, If I type in Baltimore, When I type B, all the previous items I searched for starting with a B pops up.

When you type in b again before you type anything else look at your search bar it will give you the option to clear search history

click the pencil icon next to it and then click clear history
