As previously stated, 2.04 is low. But don't let it spoil your dreams for college. You may have to take a few extra courses, but if you commit yourself to it, I'm sure you'll do well. It took guts to post this question, and I believe that you have what it takes to go all the way. Sometimes, even people getting B's and C's become President. GO figure!

If you got 2.04 in high school, it stood for the very very slow G.P.A in college. With this G.P.A, you will need extremely high standardized test score(s) (SAT, ACT, TOEFL) to be admitted to 4 years colleges and universities.
Because you asked in Studying Abroad, You may be an international student. The change you can get into Europe or America is very low (if not impossible).
I got 4.0 G.P.A but I had very hard time before being admitted to a U.S university.
In college 2.04 = C (75% Grade), if you got 2 semesters with the G.P.A 1.99, you might be kicked out. College student (in U.S) should keep at least 3.0 (B about 85%) for "a good future"
However, there is nothing impossible, you may get a change to 2 years college, then try the best you can to transfer to 4 years college...

You will probably have to apply to a junior college. Most universities won't accept with it being that close to a 2.00. That is a low C average. It wouldn't be hard to get into a junior college, but you will have to work harder in college, it's no piece of cake. If you can do better in junior college, that is what the universities look at, even if you only stay one year and transfer. I woudn't give up though. You can't get anywhere now days without a degree. It'll be okay. Get in somewhere and stay focused and you'll make it. Good luck.

Most colleges want a 3.0 (or above) average for four years.
If that isn't a GPA for your whole high school career, than you might still make it. Colleges I've talked to said if a student improves, they are considered. If you try harder and maintain a 3.0 or above, you may have a small chance.
Talk to your parents and school guidance counseler for better help planning your future. Good luck!

I'm sorry, but I don't think many colleges will accept that.type of GPA. Try to study more often if you'd like to make it into a university, or else you might want to think about a Community College.
