I like swing music but he is starting to grate on me now!

at the beginning i wanted him to win,but he is getting so annoying,he even managed to make abba sound like they sing swing music.

Yes me too, I do think he can sing but I also think he is making every weekly song into a swing thing, whatever category it is he does it to swing music, it's just showing that's his comfort zone and he's not prepared to go along with the theme and try something else...I now believe he can't sing to anything else and yes he is starting to grate on me too! let's see if next week he can pull something else out of the bag, if not he should go. I feel he is cheating in a way by doing only what he is best at.

Im bored of the swing thing,if he won the x factor how many would go out and buy his album with music on like that these days,i know i wouldnt,hopefully next Saturday Simon will get him to sing a pop song or somthing else,just to see how good he really his.

Poor Ray, he has a lovely personality- but i just don't think he can actually do swing- He is no Nat King Cole or Sinatra or Dean Martin. He would be best in westend musicals- where he could do guys and dolls or something. He is not an album/chart artist in my opinion.

This guy Ray is used to being in front of cameras and therefore does not have the nerves when "trying" to sing. All the others in the contest are green to this limelight and it must reflect in their performance as they are not used to fame and bright lights of showbusiness. By the way I think the two Scottish Brothers should have been got rid of on the first show.
Sorry but this does not really answer your question but it gets it off my chest.

He's a good entertainer - but then he is used to being in front of the camera, and so will probably make it onto the west end stage as he is a good all rounder. Feel sorry for Nikitta as she really tried. Fingers crossed the mcdonald brothers will be booted off next week

Boring is the word i like all sorts of music but you can get too much of a good thing and he will be out next week i think.

Yes really bored with him he should be eighty singing like that I think the right two were in the bottom and either one of them should have gone, glad Robert pulled it out tonight he tries so hard and is a good singer

I know what you mean, but he's got a certain style of music which he does well and I don't think he should deviate from this, as it wouldn't suit him.
You wouldn't catch Placido Domingo doing a rap, or Celine Dion (UGH!) doing a heavy metal tune, or Eminem singing a sweet ballad. People sing in a certain genre.
