I have been off depro now for 2 years and 2 months. I have heard so many woman after this method of birth control are having trouble getting pregnant. Has anyone had this problem and know a solution?

Wow, you have been off the shot longer than I have, me 11 months and I am trying also. I get so frustrated each month. I have lupus and I am somewhat afraid but I really want another child. Like you, I was on the shot for 11 years. I have heard some horror stories about infertility and things. You will be in my prayers. I wish you luck. And let me know, I didn't even start to have my period again until 3 months ago. How long did it take you? And was yours as painful and unpredictable as mine is?

I was on depo for about 5 years. I have been off of it now for 2 years and I have had trouble getting pregnant also. I don't have a solution but if you find one let me know!!

There is so solution for the depo shot, the only thing you can do is wait until your system is completely cleaned out from this shot and it usually takes about 12 months. Good luck

It took me a year to get pregnant once I got off the shot.

as soon as i stop taking the shot i got pregnant i mean right away but i was also told sometime you have to wait a month so it can get out of you system
