When I type a word into a search engine it shows every word I have looked at previously, how do I turn this off.

Internet options > Content > Auto Complete and uncheck forms and web address boxes.

in Internet Explorer Tools Menu, got to Content->AutoComplete ->Clear Form!

In your browser go to tools and internet options, then go to advance and uncheck the box that says Inline AutoComplete

I think what you are looking at is the browsing history. I don't know if you can turn it off or not (depends on the browser eg. IE7, Mozilla, Opera). You can however download Privacy Eraser and it will delete ur history for u.
