Henry John Burnett was the last man to be hanged in Scotland. Some men there are still hung, though.

15th of August 1963. The last hanging in Scotland was that of 21 year old Henry Burnett, who was executed at Craiginches Prison in Aberdeen for the murder of seaman Thomas Guyan.

Don't know, but the verb should be 'hanged' not 'hung'.
