I am challanged in the looks area. As a woman I have found that people dont want to be bothered if you are not hot. I dont know how to pose this question elloquently, but basically.....Do we on some level treat ugly people bad cause we think they are less some how?

I believe we do discriminate people who are
overweight, different culture, or less than Anjelina Jolie.
I don't know why we do that. I think it is maybe
fear that we might be the same. Or maybe we
are just ignorant beings who do not look into the
eyes or smile, but just take the easy way out
and judge by outward appearance. After all, we
are judged by whom we "hang out" with.
Generally, our world lacks compassion, respect,
individuality,
How many women do you see that look like a
copy of the long term "Barbie"
We lack character and that is sad .
When we get to the other side-there is nothing
but beautiful, so try to forgive the ones around
you that demean you in any way.
Real ugly doesn't make it to Heaven.

I think at a sub-concious level, you have something there. First impressions are very important to us. When we meet, will will subconciously size people up as either a potential mate or a potential threat. Potential friend comes later in the schedule.

Yes, you got that right. Me, I'm ugly short wrinkled and cross-eyed, and I get negated all the time. Sometimes I get so pissed off I could eat gumballs instead of chew them.
All ugly people should get together and form the AAUP, and get discounts on travel and tires.

when you get to know a person that is unattractive you find out how beautiful they really are,i also think a person who is mature looks beyond looks
