I really wouldnt use any of the natural herbal soap, i really believe that any soaps irrate your skin more.
It took me years (im 21) to find a foundation that doesnt mess my skin up more. To get the best for your skin, paying more will count for quality and beautiful skin
I use Estee Lauder and have not looked back since. Yes its quite pricey for well worth it. I mean you could even just buy the concealer they do and use a foundation of your choice at least you would have a good base and it will be good for you skin.
Also when you put foundation on, dont use your fingers because they are the source of alot of grime and oil. If you use sponges or a foundation brush remember to wash it every month with a good shampoo, you will be surprised how much crap comes out of them after a month!
I use the brush and my blemishes and spots are actually in my past now. Hope this can help you, i just wish id known this information a couple of years back but saying that i wouldnt have gradually gained all confidence i have now..

If you really want to improve your skin tone/texture. Change or modify your skin care regime. Do not exfoliate (scrub) if you have acne or problematic areas, just use a gentle cream such as a Clarifying mask (without bits) from Mary Kay or Clinique. Good foundations will only look great with good skin care. I have used concealers & this would be the best place to start. You will then only need to use a little foundation on your face. Good luck

Any beauty product from the toner and cleanser to the makeup should be oil /alchohol free and then choose all makeup that clearly states does not clog pores and never go to sleep with the makeup on and do not remove your makeup with baby oil, or vaseline nooooooooooooooo very bad and instead a mild soap like glserin bars oatmeal is good too I use ivory then a clinique or nuetregena alchohol free toner....apply this toner with the cotton rounds great for guys too to remove and feel a clean refreshed tingle on your skin apply as neccesary do not apply lotion at night Morning when you apply makeup did ya know foundation helps your skin believe it or not and so you should only apply lotion by the eys and smile lines
Now in da morning same steps a based concealer Nuetregina skin clearing with sacilyic acid may be too strong but it works you will get really dry skin with prolonged use try loreal with retinol its great for your skin Good Luck

Important: if you have acne-prone skin, do not use any foundations from the drugstore. These are cheaply made, and will definitely clog your pores. This is an area where it doesn't pay to cut costs. You need to look for a quality foundation that is oil-free and does not clog pores. Look for non-comedogenic or non-acnegenic brands. I personally like Clinique's Perfectly Real Makeup. It's light as a feather and won't irritate your skin. Prescriptives is another great brand for this skin type. Good luck!

I would use a water based foundation instead of an oil base but do not use powder. Make sure you clean your face before you put it on and always wash your make off before going to bed. Go easy on the blush because if your skin is blemished it sometimes looks red.

If you have blemished skin you need to wash your face with a good natural herbal soap every night before bed and then cut a piece off an aloe vera plant then cut the edges off and peel back the leaf and apply the gel to your face and let dry overnight. Do this every night and cut down the use of red meat and junk food, eat more vegetables-cooked and raw and more fresh fruits and in about two to three weeks the blemishes will disappear. Aloe Vera gel from the plant is used to treat burn patients to alleviate scarring from burns. Also, after washing your face with the herbal soap, pat your face dry as rubbing will induce scarring.

I use The Body Shop, and I use a little of my main foundation, then a little colour foundation/blusher. I find this works best for my skin; it covers up and adds a little colour. I don’t put much, as I put two layers on.
Try making your eyes stand out more, this will take the eye off your face, and towards you eyes, where people should be looking.
The link below is my little bit of colour, I think its great, and you will get different tones.
Good luck

If you are looking for really good coverage, there is a product called "Dermablend" that I use. It goes on really well and stays on. There is a setting powder that goes with it. I used the product when I had blemishes to cover and then later even after the blemishes had faded.

Try Pur Minerals it's all natural and covers while letting your skin breath. It's made from micronized minerals and it's amazing you'll love it. It' powder and goes on beautifully and the coverage is amazing. You can buy it on shopping channels and they have it in drug store in the US. Just make sure it's a mineral product.
