I am a writer also. Writing helps me to gather my thoughts, to make sure I am saying exactly what I want to say. Because I am kind of shy, writing helps me to express myself in ways I cannot do with spoken words. Also, I can say so much more in writing, because people can read faster than they can listen. People can remember what I have written, too, because it is permanently written down. The best way to think out what you find so awesome about writing is to sit down and start writing about it! I hope this helps you.

Writing, when it goes right, is like a gift from God. It flows through your body out of your fingertips like magic, and then when you drink in the words again with your eyes, you are amazed and satisfied. "I did this?" It's enough to make even an aetheist wonder where it comes from.

maybe this quote by Pablo Neruda will help

"You can say anything you want, yessir, but it's the words that sing, they soar and descend...I bow to them...I love them, I cling to them, I run them down, I bite into them, I melt them down...I love words so much...The unexpected ones...The ones I wait for greedily or stalk until, suddenly, they drop..."

lol its all in the words.......
